Using Distl

Distl generates summaries of text you submit. Only submit text you have the right to share and process. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, attempt to bypass credit or security limits, or interfere with other users.

Check the original

AI summaries can contain errors or leave out important details. Check the original text before relying on a summary, particularly for medical, legal, financial, or other important decisions. Distl does not provide professional advice or guarantee that every summary is complete or correct.

Your account

Keep sign-in codes and sessions private. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. Free allowances and paid credits are subject to the limits shown on the pricing page; attempts to reset allowances through repeated accounts may be restricted.

Payments, renewals and cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled. Monthly plans renew monthly; yearly plans renew yearly and still refill monthly credits each billing month. Monthly credits do not roll over. Purchased credit packs expire 12 months after purchase. Longer text uses more credits: one credit covers up to 5,000 characters.

Prices and billing intervals are shown before purchase. Listed prices exclude tax; any tax and the final total are shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its checkout terms. Cancel through your purchase confirmation or subscription management link. Cancellation stops future renewals; it is separate from requesting a refund or deleting an account. Contact us if you cannot find the cancellation link.

Refund requests are covered by our refund policy. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unchanged.

Availability and changes

We may update features, limits and these terms. The service depends on third-party providers and may sometimes be unavailable. We may restrict misuse or activity that threatens service security. Material changes to an existing subscription will be communicated before they take effect, as required by applicable law. These terms do not exclude rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
