Distl questions

What is Distl?

A Chrome extension. It summarizes text you select, a ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude reply, or an open email.

Do I have to copy the text?

No. On chat sites, click Gist on the reply. On Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo, click Summarize on the open email. On other pages, select the text.

Does it read my whole browser history?

No. It sends only the text for that summary. The page address is not sent. Details are on the privacy policy.

What does it not work on?

Chrome settings pages, the Chrome Web Store, the built-in PDF viewer, and canvas editors such as Google Docs.

How much does it cost?

Free is 50 credits a month. Paid prices are on the pricing page.
