Distl

Cookies and local storage

Last updated: 17 October 2026

Browser storage helps Distl keep sign-in and checkout working. The extension also uses Chrome storage for settings, account access, and optional history. Local storage and session storage are different from cookies but can also store information on your device.

Account and checkout storage

The website uses session storage for your account session, sign-in verification, and checkout continuation. Session storage normally lasts for the browser tab session. The extension keeps its settings and session information in Chrome storage. Signing out removes account access from that device; optional local history can be managed in the extension.

Third-party services

When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile is used to prevent automated abuse during sign-in. Google may handle enabled Google sign-in, and Lemon Squeezy handles checkout. Those services may use their own cookies or storage when you interact with them. Read their notices before proceeding.

Your choices

You can clear site data in your browser settings and remove the extension to remove its local storage. Clearing site data may sign you out or interrupt checkout. Removing the extension does not cancel a paid subscription or delete server-side account records.

If optional tracking that requires consent is introduced, it must be disclosed and appropriate controls provided before that tracking is enabled. For personal-data handling, see our privacy policy. Questions: hello@distl.online.
