Distl summarizes text you select, ChatGPT and Gemini replies, and open emails. Free plan: 50 credits/month, no card.

Steps

1. Open the Chrome Web Store listing (link goes live after publish).
2. Click Add to Chrome.
3. On first use, accept the one-time privacy notice.
4. Backend is preconfigured to distl.online — no setup needed.

Keyboard shortcuts

• Alt+Shift+S — summarize selected text
• Alt+Shift+G — gist of the chat reply in view
• Alt+Shift+P — pick paragraphs to summarize together

Change shortcuts at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

Requirements

Chrome 116 or newer. Works on normal web pages. Does not run on chrome:// pages, the Web Store, the PDF viewer, or Google Docs.
